Dentures at Nelson Avenue Dental
We do not routinely offer denture services at the clinic. We do not have the facilities to make dentures on site, so we find it to be most convenient for our patients to be referred to a local denturist.

Our office does offer implant assisted dentures, which would be fabricated by a professional laboratory.

Dentures
For people who are missing some or all of their dentition, dentures can be an option to replace these missing teeth.

If there are some teeth remaining, removable partial dentures can be utilized. They come in various designs, most often in a combination of metal frames with acrylic teeth.
​
In the situation where there are no teeth present left in a jaw, a complete denture is the most economical approach to replace the missing teeth.
​
As even the best fitting denture can suffer from looseness and movement during chewing, dental implants are often recommended in combination with dentures, especially for the lower jaw.
